Vicki M. Chen, MD, Joins Massachusetts Eye Associates
Expands Pediatric Ophthalmology Service
CHELMSFORD, MA: Massachusetts Eye Associates recently welcomed Vicki M. Chen, MD, to the practice, expanding the services they currently offer for children. “We are pleased that Dr. Chen has chosen to work with our group,” says Glen Bolliger, MD, spokesperson for Massachusetts Eye Associates. “She has excellent training and an interest in pediatric ophthalmology which is something families in the Merrimack Valley really want.”
Chen attended Boston University as an undergraduate and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine. She then served an Internal Medicine Residency at Cabrini Medical Center in New York City. On deciding to specialize in Ophthalmology, Chen completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her Comprehensive Ophthalmology training with Advanced Eye Physicians, and served her Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Boston.
Chen has research experience and has published several articles for clinical and professional review. She is an active volunteer having served as the Science Program Coordinator for the Science Club for Girls in Cambridge. She also has been a participant in pet-assisted rehabilitation therapy, training her dog to assist children and adults in various long-term care facilities in New York City. Chen is a resident of Burlington (MA).
