“I went to osteopathic medical school desiring a holistic approach for patient care.
In my first year of medical school, I fell in love with ophthalmology after being put in charge of eye exams on a mission trip to Samoa.
From that point on, I felt a calling to the field. I’m thankful to see the change in peoples’ lives through the improvement and maintenance of their sight. Cataract surgery is my primary interest.
It’s wonderful to improve a patient’s vision by removing a cloudy lens that has formed over time and replacing it with a precise acrylic lens specifically measured for each patient — often relieving patients of the burden of glasses.”
