Research Interests: Retinal imaging, new therapies for macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, and other diseases.

Dr. Liang is a board-certified member of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Vit-Buckle Society, and Retina Society. She is involved with resident and fellow teaching at the New England Eye Center and is currently co-director of the vitreoretinal surgery combined fellowship with Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.   She has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters and has presented at several regional and national meetings for her subspecialty.
